Special sprays that are used to protect the underside of trucks and vehicles from the harshest of elements claim to be almost indestructible, but how do you test such claims without completely destroying and expensive truck? the guys at How Ridiculous over on YouTube have come up with a way – testing it on a watermelon!
Coating the watermelon in a layer of Line-X spray they dropped the watermelon 150 feet off of a tower to let it plummet to a presumably very messy and splattered ending and yet it survived!. When they cut the melon open later with an industrial saw they found that the insides had been turned to mush but the outside was perfectly intact. Impressive stuff.
