Artist Creates a Man-Made Rainbow with Thousands of Coloured Threads

Normally a home for classic artworks that date back decades and sometimes even centuries The Great Gallery of Toledo Museum of Art, Ohio, recently got an art installation of a different, far more vibrant kind in the form of a giant man-made rainbow.

Made from thousands of pieces of coloured thread Mexican born mixed-media artist Gabriel Dawe is no stranger to creating vibrant thread artworks and the one you see below located in the Great Gallery is titled Plexus no. 35. The installation will be on display until January the 22nd 2017. You can see more of Dawe’s work on his website and Instagram.
