On December 27th the world lost yet another much loved star after the passing of Carrie Fisher, the actress best known for her star role in the Star Wars movies as Princess Leia. The 60-year-old sadly passed away on Tuesday, four days after suffering a heart attack.
Not only was she a fantastic actress, she was one of the first strong female characters to play a lead role, inspiring young girls to follow in her footsteps. She was also an advocate for mental health who talked openly about her battles with depression and addiction in order to help others deal with their problems.
