City Skylines Turned into Geometric Metropolises by Scott Uminga

Taking inspiration from video games such as Final Fantasy, listening to FM-84 or simply gazing out of a window on a rainy day, Toronto-based illustrator Scott Uminga turns cityscapes into vibrant geometric shapes and patterns.

Uminga’s style continues to evolve over time as he experiments with different shapes, shades and styles and his influence from video games is clear in the artwork below, so much so that we can’t help but feel that Uminga’s art is worthy of its own video game. If you’re as much of a fan as we are you can see more of his artwork on his website, Facebook and over at Society6.
