Artist Suffering from Anxiety & Depression Turns Her Life into Funny Illustrations

Whilst anxiety and depression are nothing to laugh at, humour can often be a good coping mechanism for those suffering from them which is why British artist Gemma Correll turned her own experiences suffering from the two into funny comics and illustrations that will be relatable to people who’ve had the same experiences and thought-provoking to those who have been fortunate enough not to.

From highlighting the trouble of being an over thinker, something that almost all of us are guilty of at some point or another, to the terrifying moment you have to answer a phone call from an unknown number all of Correll’s illustrations are painfully true, but manage to leave you laughing it off at the same time. You can see more of her work on Facebook,  TwitterInstagram as well as her website.
