Dramatic Inception-Style Landscape Photos by Aydin Büyüktas

Digital artist and photographer Aydin Büyüktas continues to turn aerial photos taken using a drone into stunning inception-style photos of locations from around the world. Each of the shots you see below is actually a combination of 18-20 aerial drone shots that are taken and then later stitched together in Photoshop to create the illusion that the landscape is slowly folding in on itself.

Büyüktas was inspired to start the series after stumbling across Flatland, an old satirical novel about two-dimensional world in which is home to geometric figures whose title also forms the name of this interesting project. You can see more from the series on his Facebook page and follow what he gets up to next over on Instagram.
