Ever wanted to live out your own fairytale but never thought it possible? the reality is that it could be a lot more affordable than you think now that England’s smallest castle is up for sale at a rather reasonable £550,000, an absolute bargain considering that will only get you a medium sized apartment in London.

The castle is named Molly’s Lodge and is a Grade II listed castle that’s surrounded by 0.61 acres of Warwickshire’s finest and most regal land – we’re assuming at least. Located near to the village of Long Compton the building was designed by the famous British architect Edward Blore in the 1830’s, the same architect responsible for carrying out work on Buckingham Palace and although this building is a little on the smaller side of the scale it makes up for it in charm.

Inside it’s a functioning home with a grand spiral staircase, cast iron fireplace and a living room, bedroom and bathroom – everything you’d expect a king and queen to have. You can find out more about the property here.
