Not so long ago we shared some truly magical photos captured by Russian photographer Kristina Makeeva that painted her home city of Moscow as a real life fairytale and now, on a recent visit to Japan during spring she’s done the same – capturing fairytale-like scenes as the famous cherry blossom tree’s come into full bloom.
Spring time in Japan is typically between the end of March and ends late in June, during which time the cherry blossoms appear in a time that’s referred to locally as Hanami which can be translated to as “flowering viewing.” You can follow Makeeva for more amazing photos over on Instagram.
