Near Impossible Slow-Mo Footage Shows Two Paintballs Colliding and Exploding

YouTube

The odds that two paintballs being fired at high velocity from guns will actually hit are incredibly slim, so much so that it’s highly unlikely to happen the 10th time, let alone the first. Fortunately for us however, YouTube’s The Slow Mo Guys are no strangers to perseverance in pursuit of the perfect shot even if that does mean multiple takes of the same setup.

Even if they did hit, it would be over before you know it. So it’s a good thing that when they finally managed to pull it off they were also filming with a Phantom V2511 high-speed camera that was recording at 28,500 frames per second. Slowed down however the collision between the two paintballs is actually pretty spectacular to watch – reminiscent of a fireworks display lighting up the night sky.
