You’re either terrified of thunder and lightning or you live for the moment a storm rolls around, but even for the most diehard storm lovers this encounter with a lightning storm filmed by Norway’s Daniel Modøl might be a little too close for comfort after he discovered that those mesmerising thunder bolts that seem to land randomly really can hit anywhere – even 16-feet away!
Although he didn’t quite manage to capture the lightning strike that hit his garden he did manage to film the aftermath of the strike which appears to have turned his decking area and lawn into a smoking crater. Scary stuff!
