Currently living in Victoria, Australia, ocean photographer Matt Burgess spends hours capturing the ever changing shape and form of the ocean. For the past six years the photographer has been on a quest to capture majestic shots of the ocean and clearly he’s succeeding.
Fascinated by the way in which light can manipulate the oceans appearance Burgess can often be found in the water during sunrise and sunset when the light is most ambient. An approach that pays off in the stunning photos you see below as swirling bodies of water and crashing waves appear frozen in time, only adding to the theatre and drama. You can see more of his work over on his website as well as Instagram.
