When 100 People Are Asked to Draw 10 Famous Logos from Memory the Results Are Hilarious

A companies logo is what sticks in your memory and for good reason, they spend millions each year on marketing making sure that their brand does just that, but just how effective are they at making this happen? to find out custom signage firm Signs.com put together a fascinating experiment that asked 150 Americans between 20 and 70-years-old to draw 10 famous logos from memory, and the result is pretty hilarious.

Asked to draw the famous logos without any visual aid as accurately as possible the varying results are pretty interesting to see and whilst the form of the logos themselves seems to differ hugely the majority of the people asked managed to get the colour right. According to Karen Haller, a leading authority in colour psychology, this has a lot to do with the way in which people have an emotional response to colour. Check them out.
