It’s no secret that pro and amateur photographs see the world a little differently, even when they’re looking at the exact same location. Just like any professional, someone who’s mastered their craft is able to work with minimal resources, even if they’re terrible – as proven by the work of Jenna Martin who took her camera and a model to Lowe’s department store in search of a rubbish location to shoot some amazing photos.
As it turns out, the hours spent planning a shoot and searching for somewhere amazing aren’t necessary, as even against a sea of lights or jumble of Christmas decorations Jenna has somehow managed to take us on a journey to just about anywhere she wants.
From frozen forests to studio-style backdrops she’s managed to create something extraordinary from the ordinary. Testimony to her talent as a photographer. You can see more of her work over on her website and Instagram.
