Museums send each other ducks on Twitter

This is something you probably haven’t seen so far. Museums are sending each other ducks on Twitter. It all started with The Museum of English Rural Life who really hates to play it safe on social media and its posts are always a delight for the humorous social media lovers. They tweeted one January afternoon a short, little message: “Hey, britishmuseum give us your best duck”.

It unleashed the humour, proving museums are not boring at all. Mussee du Louvre, Musee D’Orsay, The Met, The science museum or Radcliffe Observatory of Ducks and many more started submitting their ducks. The Museum of English Rural Life peacefully governed over all this madness, sometimes by trolling all the other museums who’ve submitted their ducks: “Guys, have you seen a duck?”

Enjoy!
