Newborn Baby Pigs - Move Over, Miss Piggy! The Internet Has a New Darling

Who is this little pig?

Oklahoma native, Cashlie White, is no stranger to taking pictures. A professional photographer, White has shot families, weddings, and even newborn babes.

But after seeing a friend post a picture of a newborn piglet, White had an idea. So, she reached out to friend Connie Hamilton of Hamilton Show Pigs if she could do a “newborn” style photoshoot with the runt, Dynamite.

This was White’s first time photographing a baby animal. She captures a two-week-old Dynamite sleeping peacefully, swaddled in a cozy blanket and adorable costumes. In an interview, she says that the shoot is no different than those she’s had with infants.

Doing the same process, it entails rocking the baby to sleep and keeping them warm and comfortable for the duration of the shoot.

The experience has inspired her to do more shoots with other newborn farm animals soon. In an interview with Bored Panda, she says “I hope that I’ll be able to continue doing these types of shoots because it’s obviously something the world needs more of and I’m hoping more people reach out to let me take photos of their animals!”. And we couldn’t agree more!
