007 fans rejoice! a new James Bond film has been announced and it’s name revealed as ‘Spectre’, as well as a new ride for Bond. In Skyfall we saw the classic Aston Martin DB5 return however in the new film we can expect to see Aston martins newest model, the DB10.

The new film marks the 24th in the franchise and will see Daniel Craig as James Bond using this new, modern and sleek looking car to look the part. The car was designed by Aston Martin specifically for the movie, but that doesn’t mean they have cut corners – the car is still built by their brand’s design and engineering expertise.

So far only three of them have been built out 10 that are going to be made, meaning getting your hands on one of these is pretty much impossible even if you do have the money. The DB10 will be powered by a 4.7-Litre eight cylinder engine and gives us a clue as to how the next generation of Aston Martins will look, particularly the V8 Vantage.

The cars profile from the side appears to be very similar to that of the Jaguar F-Type, however the overall design is still distinctly that of an Aston Martin. Even if the movie ‘Spectre’ turns out to be bad, we are fairly certain the DB10 wont’.
