We’ve been here before, but this time Lexus, the maker of this hoverboard assure everyone that it’s real and it works. It’s called ‘Slide’ and works thanks to the wonders of superconducting magnets, meaning that in order to use this thing you will more than likely have to ride it on some sort of magnetic track.
So it might not be the hoverboard from back to the future that we all so desperately want, but it’s a step up from the Hendo hoverboard which only worked when flying over a copper floor which makes it a step closer to a hoverboard you can fly anywhere. Check out the video above.
