With all the useful real world applications for 3D printing, this might be the best yet. At least that's the case if you love sweets, as it's now possible to print candy at the world's first “Magic Candy Factory” located in Berlin. The Magic Candy Factory can print gummy sweets in 3-10 minutes depending on their size, knocking almost 50 minutes or more off its competitors.

The machine can produce 12 shapes in 10 different colours and flavours and leaves us the question, why wasn't this a thing when we were kids!?. Sweets just got a lot cooler. For more information on the Magic Candy Factory visit here.
