Disney Princesses Reimagined as Renaissance Artworks

We’re used to seeing some pretty amazing ‘Disney Reimagined’ series, just check out this one that imagines Disney animals as humans. In this series however designer Thunyamon Charoensuttikul has decided to focus on Disney princesse’s, transforming them into 15-century inspired renaissance portraits. At first glance you’d be easily mistaken in thinking that the portraits have been painted on canvas but they were actually created digitally. The crackled texture you see on them has been added in digitally.

This is by no means the only addition that Charoensuttikul has added in to convince us these princesse’s really are from the 15-century. With each princess displaying a slightly shy smile, eyebrows replaced with a faded brown shadow these paintings distinctly resemble the likes of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
