Conflict is normally a bad thing however the recent battle that broke out on Twitter is a cause for celebration after it involved friendly rivalry between zoos as they competed to post the cutest animal photo they have.
The battle was started after a photo of a grey seal pup from Smithsonian’s National Zoo was released by the press, prompting other zoos to start competing using the #CuteAnimalTweetOff hashtag and the animals just kept getting cuter and cuter. Although the winner is still undecided it doesn’t really matter anyway, as thanks to the battle Twitter and the internet as a whole has become a happier, cuter and fluffy place to be.
