The art of compositing doesn’t just require incredible skill when it comes to using software such as Photoshop, it also requires artistic vision and the ability to use your imagination and fortunately for us Ukrainian digital artist Viktoria Solidarnyh has both as she uses a combination of photos and transforms them into one incredible fairytale-themed photo.
Photo compositing has long been a technique used by both photographers, artists and filmmakers to create scenes and backdrops that would otherwise only ever exist as a figment of someones imagination. Whilst it’s one thing to cut out a tiger or bear in Photoshop convincingly it’s another to match the background image’s lighting and colour which Solidarnyh does so well.
