Digital Artist Places Pop Culture Icons In Eerie Apocalyptic Scenes

Whilst the very nature of a pop culture icons is to be over used and seen just about everywhere that’s not to say that they can’t be reinvented and interpreted in new and interesting ways, as proven by the work of Prague-based 3D illustrator Filip Hodas.

Filip has long had a vivid imagination however it wasn’t until 2015 when he began to realise his potential as an artist after experimenting with 3D modelling software such as World Machine, Cinema 4D and Octane. It was these tools that gave Filip the opportunity to create the artwork he’d always imagined, featuring pop culture figures such as LEGO building blocks, Tetris blocks and Gameboys all set within a post-apocalyptic world. You can see more of his work on Instagram and Behance as well get prints here.
