Here’s What Happens When an Architect Attempts Baking Cakes

Food doesn’t just have to taste the part, it has to look the part too. That being said the work of pastry chef Dinara Kasko might just be too aesthetically pleasing. So much so that you’ll find yourself in a state of conflict: you’ll be wanting to take a bite but feel guilty for ruining something so perfect it could be considered art.

Take Kasko’s latest desert for instance. An algorithmically modelled cake berry chocolate cake inspired by the works of artist and engineer Matthew Shlian. Each of the 81 unique cakes have been placed together to create an oddly satisfying wave of geometric deserts that’s so damn pleasing to look at. You can see more of Kasko’s work over on Instagram.
