Out of all the possible combinations of letters and numbers, they choose to use "A113". And it would appear that this number has far more significance than you would have ever thought. The number of films that it appears in is amazing.
On a box in Bugs Life.
A divers camera in Finding Nemo.
The coordinates to Mr. Incredibles phone in The Incredibles.
On a train and on Mater's plate in Cars.
A tag on a rat in Ratatouille.
The code for the "abandon earth protocol" in WALL-E.
The courtroom number in Up.
On Siddley's tail, a screen and on Mater's plate again.

It shows up in none Pixar films too, such as Lilo & Stich.

Don't worry, it doesn't mean anything sinister. A113 refers to a classroom number at the California Institute or Arts. Many of the animators at Disney and Pixar as well as several other studios started here, and this is were they perfected their skills. They subtly use A113 in their animations as a nod to one another and a reminder that they all started from this one classroom, and without it they wouldn't be where they are today.
